Night Run, February 17th 2024

We will be holding a NIGHT RUN on 17th February, with trains running 6.30-9pm. Tickets $2 each, please have enclosed footwear.

Twilight Run, Matariki Public Holiday, July 14th 2023

We are excited to announce a TWILIGHT RUN on the Matariki public holiday Friday 14th July, trains running from 4pm. Tickets are $2 for everybody please wear enclosed shoes!

Small Engine’s Day 2023

This King’s Birthday weekend (3^rd and 4^th of June) we will be hosting a get together and fun run.

Visiting engineers, and members of MEANZ affiliated clubs welcome, remember your boiler tickets! All locomotives ranging from 2.5” to 5” gauge are welcome, but only small 7.25″ locomotives will run comfortably on the raised track.

The track and facilities will be open to club members and visiting engineers only on Saturday 3^rd from 9am, for small locomotives to run on our raised track, with no public passengers.

Sunday will have public passenger rides and running for all sized locomotives from 11am to 3pm.

Night Run, Easter Saturday, April 8th 2023

We are excited to announce a NIGHT RUN this coming Easter Saturday 8th of April we plan to open at 6pm til late Tickets are $2 for everybody please wear enclosed shoes!

Night Run, April 17th 2020

Saturday April 17th we are holding one of our ever popular night runs! Trains running from 6.30pm onwards, we shall stop once people have had enough (usually around 8.30).

$2 a ride, 6 for $10.

Labour Day Open Weekend October 24th-26th

We will be holding our annual open weekend again this year over Labour Day weekend. Local and visiting trains from across the country will be running for the public on Sunday and Monday  10am-4pm. Please note we can only open to the public if we are at Covid alert level 1.

Members’ run day, 30th August 2020

On Sunday 30th August we had a members run. The day was well attended, with trains running on both tracks and a 3″ scale traction engine on the field. It was a pleasure to see our member Gavin’s new tank car and caboose.
